Als openingstentoonstelling in haar nieuwe pand toont ramfoundation voor de 14e maal Small Works XIV, ditmaal in samenwerking met 10 Rotterdamse galeries. In een wereld van groter groeien en megalomanie wordt het belang van het vastleggen van een eerste idee, de concentratie en intimiteit die klein werk kan bezitten vaak onderschat. Deze tentoonstelling wil tonen dat werken bescheiden in formaat evenwel kunnen raken en ontroeren, zeer kernachtig en zelfs wand vullend kunnen zijn. |
Inaugurating our new space ramfoundation will host the 14th edition of the Small Works exhibition in cooperation with 10 Rotterdam galleries. In a world oriented towards expansion and megalomania the importance of capturing an initial idea as well as the potential concentration and intimacy of smaller sized works is often underestimated. This exhibition shows how Small Works can indeed move and affect us, be essential and can even fill up an entire wall. |

| doelstelling / goal |
| ramfoundation wil de belangstelling voor hedendaagse kunst bij uiteenlopende publieksgroepen bevorderen en verdiepen oa middels multi- and crossdisciplinaire groepstentoonstellingen. Daarbij wordt in diverse ruimtes werk getoond van een mix van jong talent en gerenommerde kunstenaars.
